Who is 180?
180 Church is an evangelical interdenominational Church, strategically aligned and associated with three main "evangelical" movements. The Lausanne Movement, (founded by Dr. Billy Graham in 1974) Willow Creek Association, and Purpose Driven Church Network. 180 Church also manages programs and partnerships that extend our mission: to help every metropolitan city in the world "turn and live for Christ".
Our main theological statement of faith is synonymous with the Lausanne Covenant that was engineered by the renowned theologian Dr. John Scott, along with Dr. Billy Graham (BGEA) and Dr. Leighton Ford (Arrow Leadership), and drafted in 1974 at the first Lausanne Congress for world evangelization.
Pastor Sam and Pastor Lydia were accepted and invited to take part in The Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization that was held in 2011 in Cape Town, South Africa.
